Tropic Like its Hot

Hello there crafters,

Lately here in the sunny state of Florida it has been very humid and hot and rainy, which only adds to the humidity and brings on the muggies, so I decided to make a CAS card

to express my thoughts on it.

Stamp set I used is called Tropic like its Hot from SugarPea Designs and it also comes with a coordinating die set.

Cut down some 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock to create a top folding A2 sized card.

Cut out a piece of 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle die from MFT.

Pick out three to four green ink pads and choose the leaves you want and randomly stamp them out over the cardstock using the different ink pads to add a contrast of color.

Ink pads used

FSJ Kiwi Slice

Lawn Fawn Celery Stick

Lawn Fawn Cilantro

Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass

Use a clear spectrum sparkle marker and put some shimmer on the darker colored leaves (Kiwi Slice).

Using some blackout ink stamp out the sentiment Tropic Likes its Hot and stamp it onto the card front.

Add some foam squares and adhere it to the card base to add some dimension to the card.

Thank you for joining me today on my blog and have a Craft-T day y’all.
