Good morning crafters,
I want to personally thank you for joining us today for the first blog hop sponsored by Kate’s Crafty Closet. We have an amazing line up of talented crafters today who are going to show you their projects that contain red, white and blue in honor of Independence Day.
Going forward we will have monthly blog hops on the first of each month and they will each have a different theme so if this is something you are interested in please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have a clean and simple card for you today and hope you enjoy it.
I first started off die cutting all the elements of the cards which were my starbursts dies from WRMK then my curved rectangles from spellbinders and then last for the die cuts the letters from MFT pop up letter dies.
Then I used my 3D embossing punch from momenta and punched out some red, white and blue stars.
For the inside of the card I added one of the curved rectangles to the center then on the top and the bottom of the card I put the red, white and blue embossed stars I punched out using some lawn fawn glue.
I cut down some heavy weight blue cardstock to the size of a standard A2 card. I then went ahead and adhered down the curved rectangle cut outs on to it using some lawn fawn adhesive. Next, I went ahead and adhered the starburst die cuts to the center of the card. Then I went ahead and put the word USA on top of the cards and I also did a shadow effect with two different cardstock colors. Last thing I did was use a blue glitter gel pen and put some stitch marks around the white curved rectangle die cut.
This completes my card for todays blog hop and I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple card and look forward to the next blog hop. #mftstamps#WRMK#cardmaking#spellbinders#neenahpaper#recollections#gelpens#momentapunch#USA@redwhiteandyou#independence
