Rainbow Card using Distress Crayons

Hello there crafters,

Today I have an easy fun project for you using distress crayons and a stencil.

First thing I did was take some mixed media paper and put a stencil over the top and then applied white gesso over the stencil to create some texture for the card front.

Next thing I did was use some distress crayons and apply it to the gessoed mixed media cardstock in rainbow order. You can use any colors you wish for this step. I then used a baby wipe to blend the colors.

Colors I used were:

Candied Apple

Carved Pumpkin

Squeezed Lemonade

Lucky clover

Salty Ocean

Wilted Violet

Next thing I did was used a Hello die from MFT and cut it from some black cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card. I also cut out a stitched sentiment strip from MFT as well. Next, I chose a sentiment my friend from a HoneyBee stamp set and use Juicy embossing ink to stamp it on the sentiment strip. The I used some yellow embossing powderand heat set the powder. Then I use some foam squares and adhered the sentiment strip to the front of the card. Lastly I splattered some Crayola black watercolor on the card front. #inkon3#mftstamps#distresscrayons#timholtz#honeybeestamps
