Out of this World Card

Hello there my fellow crafters,

Today I am recreating an art journal page I made on a Facebook live a few weeks ago and turning it into a card. I will be using some of the distress oxide sprays as well as my favorite product liquid pixie dust from inkon3. This card is out of this world. Thank you for joining me today on my blog and YouTube channel and have a Craft-T day y’all.

This is the art journal pages I did a few weeks ago.

Here is the finished card.

Click below to watch the YouTube tutorial.

  • Cut down some 110lb black card stock to make a standard A2 size top folding card.
  • Cut down some black mixed media paper to the standard A2 size panel.

  • Spray distress oxide sprays onto the mixed media paper in whatever color combos you choose and in any order as well.
  • Colors used for this card are as follow.
  • Fossilized Amber
  • Picked Raspberry
  • Mermaid Lagoon
  • Wilted Violet
  • Spiced Marmalade
  • Cracked Pistachio

  • Put some liquid pixie dust on an acrylic block,
  • Add some water.
  • Using a water brush flick onto the finished card panel.

  • Add some white paint to an acrylic block. A little dab will do.
  • Add some water.
  • Using a brush flick onto the finished card panel to create the glaxy look.
  • Let dry.

  • Using the WRMK Deco corner chomper punch all four corners.
  • Add some foam squares to back of card and add some art glitter on top of them.
  • Adhere to the card base.

This completes the card for today.

I hope you enjoyed todays tutorial and until next time have a Craft-T day y’all.
